icon-danger-8In July of 2003, the 1999/92/EC directive also known as ATEX- 137 came into force and was incorporated to Spanish law by means of the ROYAL DECREE 681/2003, of June 12, regarding the health and safety protection of workers exposed to the risks of explosive atmospheres in the workplace.
Explosive atmospheres are generated in the productive processes of many different sectors. An explosion-related risk-assessment study is required in this kind of industry.
Electrostatics is one of the most difficult ignition sources to control and is responsible for a large number of accidents. During production processes, static electricity can be produced during loading, unloading or due to friction with the container.
To avoid these risks, CLIMESA  has designed different types of flexible containers to optimize the passive safety level and the financial resources required.
