Quality tests
CLIMESA performs multiple quality controls and tests on its flexible containers to ensure they meet the requirements of law and our customers. The company has all the necessary testing equipment and personnel who are trained to use it.
The main test performed is related to traction, testing the mechanical strength of the flexible containers. These tests follow the UNE-EN ISO 21898:2004 standard on Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs) for non-dangerous goods. Their main purpose is to demonstrate their load capacity and ensure their work safety factor under the established conditions.
Another fundamental test confirms the electrostatic properties of the flexible containers. CLIMESA manufactures all kinds of flexible containers to ensure safety in work environments where there is a risk of electrostatic build-up in containers. It performs checks in accordance with IEC 61340-4-4 Standard test methods for specific applications – Electrostatic classification of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC), analyzing if the fabrics and earthing conductors are functioning properly
